Religious Education

Thank you for celebrating Father's Day with us!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the fathers and father-like figures who joined us for our 'intimate' Father’s Day celebration. Although the space was a little tight, the warmth and spirit in the room were a beautiful reflection of our school community. This special gathering is an important part of who we are and what we do as a Catholic school, and we are grateful for your presence and support.

We appreciate the love, support, and guidance you give to our students every day. Whether you're a dad, granddad, uncle, stepdad, or mentor — your role in their lives is truly valued.

Wishing you all a joyful and memorable Father’s Day!

World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation

On Monday 1st September, we joined the global Catholic community in praying for our Earth — our common home. This special day reminds us of the beauty of our Earth and the importance of looking after it with love and care.

This year’s theme, “Seeds of Peace and Hope,” reminds us that, like Jesus’ image of the seed, we are called to grow peace and hope in the world. Pope Leo XIV encourages us to turn deserts into gardens through prayer, determination, and action.

At school, students learn about ways they can help protect the environment — from recycling and saving water to planting trees and appreciating the wonders of nature.

We also invite families to join us in a moment of prayer:

A Prayer for Our Earth
Dear God,
Thank You for the sky, the trees, the oceans, and all the animals.
Help us to take care of the Earth every day.
Show us how to be kind to nature and to each other.
May we always remember that the world is a gift from You.
Amen.

Can Challenge

We also invite families to join us in a moment of prayer: Classes are challenged to donate the most cans to be donated to City Mission. Students can bring this to the classroom to be counted at the end of the month.

Youth Group

Join us for an evening of fun, games, food, faith, and friends. 6pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Hall following the Saturday Vigil (at 5pm).
