Celebrating our Catholic Identity
At Sacred Heart, the heart of our school is our strong Catholic Identity, which underpins and guides our vision and mission. Everything we do is inspired by the love of Jesus, who teaches us to care for one another and to walk together in faith.
Our school community works together to create a safe, nurturing environment where every student is supported to grow, learn, and flourish. We live out our faith through our core values of Compassion, Sustainability, Gratitude, Honesty, and Inclusion—values that help us build meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging for all.
As a Catholic school, we are proud to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, shaping a community where every child is valued, encouraged, and loved.
Man in the Shroud Exhibition
On Monday, the Junior Joeys will be attending the exhibition of the full-size replica of The Shroud of Turin.
Students will learn:
● The Shroud of Turin contains a miraculous image of a crucified man that evidence
suggests is Jesus Christ.
● The shroud has undergone numerous scientific investigations over the years that
all support the authenticity of the shroud and its image.
● The evidence presented by the shroud strongly corroborates the accuracy of the
Gospel accounts of Jesus’ Crucifixion and Resurrection.
This exhibition curated by Othonia (based in Rome) features a full-sized replica of the Shorud of Turin with the Holy Face of Jesus Christ and some copies of first century artefacs and the latest scientific evidence on this world-renowned linen cloth. Could this be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ and the evidence of the REsurrection? Come and see for yourself!
Open to the public. Free Entrance.
